Samsung Galaxy Note II vs HTC JetStream

If you’re one of a classic fan of Android, then you must know that how smoothly the Android works on a high-end device. No matter whether it’s a HD game or a HD video, it just works buttery smooth meeting up your each and every exceptions. As for now, we have two devices in hand- HTC Jet Stream and latest from Samsung Galaxy Note 2.  We’ll compare these devices and bring the best out of these two. Let’s together check what they actually have got and which one is best , just we look for “android rooting “.Samsung Galaxy Note IIHTC JetStreamDesignWhere HTC Jet Stream is a 10.1 inch standard tablet, Galaxy Note 2 is also somewhat close to tablet with a 5.5 inch massive screen.

Believe us, both are ultraportable and looks extremely stunning. HTC Jet Stream is little thicker with 13 mm thickness, may be because of its large size whereas Galaxy Note 2 is much sleek with 9.4mm thickness. Where HTC Jet Stream has got a metallic back panel, Galaxy Note 2 is just made up of premium plastic. Apart from that, Galaxy Note 2 weighs only 180g whereas HTC Jetstream is clearly much heavy with 709g weight.

Display is the most important part of any smartphone’s device. Samsung Galaxy note 2 has a 5.5 inch HD Super-AMOLED display with a stunning resolution of 1280*720 pixels. HTC Jetstream on the other side has a 10.1 inch basic LCD display with a resolution of 800*1280 pixels.

Although the HD Display is a jaw dropping feature in Galaxy Note 2 but does it has a capable hardware too, we’ll covering it in this section.

Starting with HTC Jet Stream, it has gota Dual-core 1.5 GHz processor paired with a 1GB of RAM. The Galaxy Note 2 on the other side has got a 1.6 GHz quad-core processorpaired with unbelievable 2GB RAMand thereby clearly beating the Jet Stream with a huge margin. The 1.6GHZ quad core processor is a perfect answer to the possibility of playing Full HD videos in just a 5.5 inch smartphone. Talking about cameras, HTC Jetstream has two cameras; back camera is 8 MP with dual LED Flash whereas front camera is only 1.3 MP.

The Galaxy Note 2 on the other hand has also an 8MP camera at the back and 1.9MP camera at the front.  While Galaxy Note 2 is available in 3 variants (16GB/32GB/64GB), HTC Jet Stream on the other hand comes only in 32GB version. Apart from this, both HTC Jet Stream and Samsung Galaxy Note 2 have an integrated stylus. So in terms of hardware, we believe Samsung Galaxy Note 2 has a clear win.

Another disappointment in case of HTC Jet Stream is that it comes with Android 3.2 Honeycomb out of the box ad there’s no confirmation from company regarding up gradation to ICS 4.0.

Although both the devices are high-end devices but Samsung Galaxy Note 2 is clearly extraordinary from its competitor. But still if you’re looking for a tablet, than you can’t replace it with Galaxy Note 2, however we are happy to declare the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 as a clear winner. And if somehow you’re looking for portability, close your eyes and bang for Samsung Galaxy Note 2.
